Meatcards started explosively in late April, 2009 between coworkers John Young, Randy Schmidt, and Will Ronco. Chris Thompson was brought in to combine his knowledge of laser with beef jerky to make the first prototype. We went from Idea to bOINGbOING in 3 days.
